Technical Due Dilligence for a 150MW wind farm

A comprehensive technical due diligence assessment was conducted for the 150MW wind farm, revealing several critical risks. The review included an evaluation of the energy production license, noting its imminent expiration, and compliance with regulations regarding turbine height. Although building permits were obtained, essential design documents for electrical infrastructure were identified as missing, raising concerns about project feasibility. The condition of existing overhead lines was assessed, highlighting potential outage risks due to challenging local climate conditions. Discrepancies between turbine locations in the Preliminary Design Review and those in the building permit were noted. Additionally, inadequacies in stormwater management solutions were found, which do not comply with Serbian water laws, and transport studies overlooked local road conditions. The assessment provided a thorough examination of documentation gaps, design misalignments, and ecological impacts that require immediate attention to ensure the project's viability.

Voltage Profile Improvement in the Region

After careful economic analysis in PLEXOS and PSS/E software, Go2Power identified and recommended financially approved solutions for addressing steady-state overvoltage issues in the WB6 region's transmission grid. The key tasks included diagnosing the causes of overvoltage in both current and future grid configurations, proposing various cost-effective solutions that consider both technical specifications and equipment location, and ensuring compliance with national Transmission Grid Codes. The study also established criteria for selecting the optimal solution for the entire WB6 region and reached a consensus on the best strategy for overvoltage management. This market analysis is essential for ensuring a reliable and efficient electricity supply throughout the region.
